Big news!
I got the job at Billboard (social marketing manager) and will start on June 30th! I submitted my notice here last week and the CEO publicly told everyone here on Friday that it was a perfect fit for me and he couldn't dream of making me an offer I'd actually accept to stay, and that while he was sad to lose me, he was happy for the opportunity I have.
I also spoke in Charlotte on Friday morning and it was amazing! Everyone loved my presentation!
AND I'm very much in an "actions speak louder than words" mood. There were 3 people that talk a big game in Charlotte that I hoped to see but all made NO effort to see me. I used to get upset about this and spend my time chasing people around... not anymore. Now it's just their loss and I'll know to not move my plans around to accommodate them in the future.
