{Aoi and Uruha}
{Uruha's House --> Aoi's House}
{Rated PG}

Thursday night had left Aoi feeling strangely unsettled, sort of distracted- which wasn't good at work the next day, not at all. Perhaps no one had noticed but him; either way, he didn't like it. Didn't like losing the tiny bit of control that he was, needed some sign that this wasn't spinning out of his hands.

And so the only thing to do had been to drive to Uruha's house and hope to God the blonde said something that pissed him off.

Bright and early on a Saturday; perhaps he was deliberately trying to offend the blonde as well? Or he simply just couldn't wait. Whatever. Either way, he wasted no time dragging himself to the front door and knocking on it maybe a little too loudly.

It took a long time for the pretty blonde man to finally come to the door, ripping it open with a less than happy look on his face. But as soon as eyes landed on the brunette therapist, the look was quickly changing to one of glee.

"Ah! Thank you, saves me the trouble of dragging your ass out of bed."

Aoi's hand was taken before Uruha was promptly dragging him up the stairs and too his room without even asking what the other wanted at this hour of the morning. "You can keep me company while I pack."

Aoi's determination turned quickly into blank confusion. Drag his ass out of bed? Help him pack...? Just what the fuck was going on here?

Well, he was going somewhere, obviously. Aoi felt strangely odd about that. Was he actually going to miss him if he didn't see him for a week? Oh, well. Maybe he'd send a postcard.

"Uh... going somewhere?" A slight frown as Aoi peered around the room.

Eyes glanced back before falling back on the task of folding clothes to stuff them into a suitcase already half full.

"Weare going away for a week."

A secretive smile, because the pretty blonde wasn't going to divulge just where they were going, at least not yet. Besides, he wanted to see the therapist's reaction to this sudden piece of information anyway.

We? ....Oh no, no, no. Having a job should've reminded Uruha that one couldn't just leave for a week without notice. He had patients- impatient patients who would probably screech at him once he got back.

Not to mention... why?

"Are we?" His voice was totally free of the typical distaste he usually had, to some degree. Rather, he sounded slightly stunned.

"Yes we are..."

Clothe's firmly packed away, the suitcase was closed up and dragged off the bed to fall to the floor with a rather loud thump. A grunt when the pretty blonde had to pick it up to drag towards the door.

But an eyebrow was being raised when eyes finally fell on the brunette that hadn't really moved. "Is something wrong?"

And suddenly, Aoi didn't want to piss Uruha off anymore, simply because he was confused. Who did this kind of stuff without warning?

...Takashima Kouyou, that's who.

He sighed heavily, looking from the suitcase to the blonde and back again. "I'm a little confused. Why are we doing this? And why didn't you think to tell me before packing was necessary?" That would have made it so much easier.

"It's your..." A long pause, eyes giving an angry look to the brunette therapist. "Late birthday present."

The suitcase was dragged out of the room and steadily towards the stairs where it was simplytipped over to careen down to the bottom, the pretty blonde still at the top just watching it.

"And I was really busy between catching up and settling my own work and talking to your secretary..." An almost sarcastic grin from Uruha. "She's so nice... Pity she is scared of me."

His... secretary? His birthday? Aoi's mind was spinning in circles. Did that mean he had no appointments for the next week? Surely not. Such miracles didn't happen, not ever.

"I... okay... my... my birthday? My secretary? How'd you find out about that? What'd you say to her?"

Surely assaulting Uruha with questions wouldn't help the situation... but he didn't really care all that much. Mostly, he wanted to know how Uruha knew his birthday had passed when he'd been deliberately hiding it from everyone.

"Oh well... She told me." After a mundane, one-sided conversation about just when it happened to be, and just what Uruha should buy for him this time around.

Maybe a house was on the list.

A hand looped and Aoi was tugged down the stairs, all the while Uruha just kept talking, throwing occasional hurt, or scathing looks back at him.

"Thanks for not telling me, too." A shrug, because in the end, he guessed it really didn't matter. "But I uh... Convinced her to rebook all your appointments for this week."

Probably best to leave out that he had to make a few personal calls to less than pleased patients.

That easy? Clearly, everything was easy for Uruha. He'd half expected him to say that his father had dug up Aoi's birthday on a private investigation, but was pleased that that wasn't the case.

"I didn't tell anyone."

Who the fuck wanted to celebrate turning 29?

"I wasn't at all excited about it." God, he felt old- and the fact that he limped like an old man really wasn't helping at all. If they were going on a vacation somewhere, then Aoi would simply pretend it was just for the hell of it.

"Well you should have at least told me!" And this time around, the pretty blonde didn't have to try and fake the hurt feelings that can through with his words. "I don't care that you're old, or that you have no friends, or whatever your excuse is."

A quick shrug, hurt expression being shot back at Aoi before the suitcase was slowly dragged out the front door, real effort having to be put into it.

"I only have one friend, and fuck, I'm not that much younger than you."

Aoi grimaced. He hadn't honestly expected anyone to be hurt- but maybe that was because his mother had gotten used to his refusal to acknowledge that awful day and he'd assumed she was the only one who cared.

"I didn't mean to offend you."

He swallowed. This wasn't the kind of anger he was expecting.

"I would've liked to not know myself, honestly." Fuck, he was almost 30 now- and once he reached 30 he was surely near death.

A shrug, and for a moment, Uruha didn't say anything. "Well... I was offended."

More than a little, but he wasn't really going to say just how much. Because it had been quite a lot.

"Beside's... I'll be 29 before long." A face made at that, and really, the blonde himself did not relish the idea of turning that age far too soon.

At least he had another two and half years to go.

It suddenly registered in Aoi's mind that he wasn't sure just how close to 29 Uruha really was- and he wasn't going to ask him, because then he'd just look like more of an ass. No, he'd ask Noa later. Surely Noa wouldn't tell?

...

Probably not, anyway. It was a safer bet than asking Iori.

"You'll see what I mean, then," he said gravely. "It doesn't help that I walk at the pace of an 80 year old." Maybe not quite that slow, but being disabled surely didn't make one feel young, that was for sure.

Uruha shrugged at that, finally forcing the suitcase into the trunk of Aoi’s car, that he had so rudely opened without asking, surprise.

“I don’t mind that you use a cane or anything… It’s not like it was your fault.” A little smile and the blonde was pointing to the driver’s side, the message clear.

“Besides… Isn’t it supposed to make you distinguished or something?”

A small shrug. Aoi climbed into the driver's seat, figuring they were heading towards his house so he could pack for this little surprise. Being with Uruha was nothing if not interesting, that was for sure.

"I suppose getting shot in the middle of Jusco makes me unique."

And famous- for about a week. He was sure his face had shown up in kids' current events assignments all over the city. How nice.

"I'd rather be able to walk, though, honestly." A short laugh.

"What about physical therapy?" Wasn't that shit designed to help with these types of things? He wouldn't really know, had never hurt himself enough to have to need it...

Knock on wood that he would never need it.

"I like you just the way you are." A charming smile that wasn't at all fake.

"I guess. Maybe." Aoi shrugged. Despite having been shot, he didn't know anything about it- except that it hurt like a bitch. And it had really, really pissed him off. "If that American rapper guy can get shot nine times and still be rapping, I suppose I should be able to function."

Meh, whatever. He was getting used to it.

It only took about five minutes- possibly even less- to drive to his house from Uruha's. It was alarming, how close to each other they lived, like some hand of God was trying to push them together. Good thing Aoi didn't believe in God. "So, darling... you never told me just where we're going?" A small smile.

A secretive smile was given before the pretty blonde was making his way out of the car and to the front door where he patiently waited for the other to come and unlock it.

For just a moment, he comtemplated not tell Aoi at all, but he figured he would at least have to know so he could pack properly.

But that didn't mean he wasn't going to get something out of it as well.

"Give me a good enough kiss and I'll tell you."

Aoi followed and locked the door, a small smile dancing on his lips. Well, that surely shouldn't be much of an issue.

He turned to press his lips to Uruha's gently, a kiss that would almost be sweet if Aoi weren't the one giving it, hand on the blonde's cheek until he pulled away.

"Good enough?"

A breathless smile when the therapist pulled back, and Uruha would never tell Aoi just how much he really enjoyed the kisses the brunette gifted him with.

"Australia..."

Someplace warm, because it was still so fucking cold around Akachou, that frankly, Uruha was sick and tired of it.

And Aoi was surprised, yet again- but this time, very pleasantly. "Wow, really?" Impressive. He'd never been that far, always wanted to go there.

It was just... so far away.

Not to mention it was summer there.

"....Cool." He was grinning, for once genuinely excited about something. Maybe his birthday wasn't really that much of a death wish- now that it had happened nearly a month ago, anyway.

The blonde smiled at that, hooking a hand with the brunette and following him into his home. "I'm glad you like it..."

But he still wasn't going to say just how much Aoi's pleasure, his displeasure, how everything about the brunette affected him.

"Pack light, alright? It's going to be pretty hot."
Oh he had made sure of that.

"Sure, it's summer there." Unless Uruha was referring to the other meaning of hot, which was entirely possible. "How much time have I got?"

Hopefully plenty- this was rather sudden, and packing to go Australia wasn't exactly a short process. Perhaps Uruha would help him.

...Probably.

He dug a suitcase out from under his bed and opened it, trying to remember where he'd stored all of his summer clothing this year.

"Uh..." A quick glance to his watch before the blonde was plopping himself down on the other half of Aoi's bed and lounging out. "A little over an hour..."

Plenty of time, right?

A soft smile before Uruha was turning over on his stomach, sure to give a teasing wiggle of hips that carried on down to thighs. "You know... I really like your bed."

"Ah, that should be fine." A grin. "I'm glad. I like it, too." And he particularly liked Uruha in it, not that he was going to say that at the moment. It would lead his mind places he really didn't need it to go right now, especially if Uruha responded the way he predicted he would.

...Not that he was very good at predicting what Uruha would do.

Finally remembering where he'd put his clothes, he went to dig them up, praying he wouldn't feel the urge to spend an hour deciding what shirts to take with him as he often did.

The grin that had faded away at watching the other shift through clothing, before flaring back up at his next words.

"Make sure you pack a bathing suit." Uruha was more then delighted that he would be able to lounge around on a beach and swim in waters that were warm.

Plus, seeing Aoi in a bathing suit was a plus.

"I will." If he could even remember where he'd put the one he had. He hadn't been swimming in ages, years, maybe- just didn't have the time for stuff like that.

...Hopefully he hadn't gained any weight this winter. That would be awful.

"...We should use my cane to get us into preboarding." A small smirk. Maybe it would be good for something.

"We're already going to be sitting on a plane for six hours, why do you want to be on it more?"

Not that it would really matter to be preboarded anyway, first class was always boarded first anyway, so really, what was a few more minutes?

Uruha just... Didn't want to be cramped up for longer than neccessary.

A shrug. "Because it makes me feel elite." He finally managed to dig out his swimsuit. Pretty dark and plain, simply because he wasn't the swimming type...

But that would certainly change for the week. He was going to do all he could to have fun- a lot of it.

"We don't have to, though I might get a small child thrown at me for moving to slow." Or a dog. God, he hoped there would be none of those.

It took a moment for Uruha to even fully understand those words before the pretty blonde was bursting out in laughter, having to bury his face in the brunette's pillow to muffle it, body shaking with the effort.

Too long and finally he had pulled himself together enough to draw away, lips still pulled in a grin and eyes shining with laughter.

"Oh, Aoi... We can board early then... If only to save you from being hurt."

A grin. "Thanks, dear. You take such good care of me." Not entirely sarcastic, especially right then. This, he predicted, would be pretty good for his mental health.

He dug out the rest of his clothes and threw some in, suddenly not really caring what he wore there. He'd make it match.

"...Hey, do you speak English?"

You don't?" A confused expression before Uruha was sitting up, letting legs dangle over the side of the bed to give the brunette a serious expression.

If he didn't, well then... A small smile before the blonde said in a Japanese accented English; "I speak English pretty well actually."

Traveling so much certiantly came in handy.

A small smirk. "I understood pretty much none of that, but it was pretty sexy." He was feeling pretty playful, which was weird. The concept of travel was just that awesome, apparently. "I'm glad, because... no, I don't."

A shrug. He'd learned some in school, but it hadn't been his best subject and therefore he'd decided to forget pretty much everything- and had succeeded in doing so.

He only hoped he could trust Uruha to translate what people said correctly.

And an almost wicked grin spread over his face before the pretty blonde stood up slowly before making his way over to the brunette.

"Oh yeah? That means I can talk about anything and you would know what I'm saying..."

And even if Aoi learned enough English, there were still a few languages left.

"Want me to talk dirty to you in English next time?" Since it was apparently so sexy, and all.

A small smirk. "That would be pretty hot." Not that English was especially pretty; he just got off on intelligence, it seemed. "And yeah, you can say whatever and there's a pretty good chance I won't understand."

He had to be in a pretty good mood to be admitting that so freely. Then again, there was very little he could do to hide it.

"But I'll trust you. Is that a bad idea?"

An almost serious expression at those words. "Of course you can, I'm not mean enough to leave you stranded..." At least, not mean enough to do it to Aoi.

"Mmm..." A teasing grin before the pretty blonde was leaning forward to whisper more English into the therapist's ear. "Are you going to have fun fucking me in a hotel bed... We can do such naughty things."

Aoi would have laughed if he wasn't suddenly feeling chills under his skin, eyes widening just slightly. Uruha could've said something about horses, as far as he knew- but it still sounded pretty hot.

"...The only word I understood was 'fucking'."

Of course.

"...But the answer is 'yes', whatever you said." A small smirk.

And the grin that just hadn't, and wouldn't leave the pretty blonde's face all morning was just growing in size, lewdness seeping in.

"Oh, naughty, naughty Aoi..." A whisper of lips against skin. "Good thing I packed all that naughty stuff then."

Except, what he had packed wasn't exactly out of the ordinary to begin with.

"I did say you'd get a chance to tie me down, after all."

Aoi simply smirked before pulling away from the blonde, far too certain that if this continued much longer he wouldn't be finished packing in time, to say the least.

"Did you now?" The smirk grew. "I can't wait."

He quickly packed the rest of his clothes, far too intent on getting to Australia as soon as possible.

"Mmm, I'm sure you can't." A naughty little grin before the blonde's face was falling into a more serious expression.

Did he ask? There was only one way to really honestly know...

"Hey... Are you ever, you know, bottom?"

"...Hmmmm?" A small smile. Did that mean Uruha wanted to... switch things up? Well, he probably wouldn't object to that.

...On rare occasions, anyway.

"Sure, I've done that before." A shrug. Most gay men had, which Uruha would hopefully learn eventually. "It's not a big deal to me." Aside from the whole being submissive thing. He wasn't very good at that.

A small noise just to confirm that he had heard before the pretty blonde was finally making his way towards the door, they should head out, because missing the plane would just fucking suck.

"I don't... Even know how to... So..."

That probably meant it would be a good long while before he even tried to bring the subject up again, let alone tried it.

"It's not very hard." Aoi shrugged, dragging his suitcase behind him. "But if you don't want to do it then you certainly don't have to."

Hell, he wasn't complaining if Uruha didn't want to make him submit. It always took a degree of vulnerability, and he wasn't sure if he was prepared.

He shoved his suitcase in the trunk of his car. "Well, then. Shall we be on our way?"

"Yeah..." A small smile and the blonde was sliding into the car, nervously glancing around for a few moments, waiting until the brunette had gotten into the car before speakin again.

"Will you uh... Teach me?"

How pathetic.

"Sure." Aoi didn't find it amusing, surprisingly enough. Just cute, if anything. But he'd been scared his first time as well- though much more scared to be the one taking it, because that hurt.

But even so, there were parts of Uruha that were so innocent.
And that was so odd.

"If you want me to." And with that, he was driving to the airport.

"Yeah..." A soft smile before attention was turned back to the scenery. "Someday..."

Someday... He would learn plenty from the brunette. Like how to be just a little human.

Or so he hoped.
