West, that isn't your fault. You had to do what you did and if you hadn't adapted it would have driven you insane or gotten you and your men killed.

You had to be that person West, it doesn't mean you still are.

But they did die. All of them died.

And I'm fairly certain that I'm not as sane as I was before it happened.

Yeah, because of Jim, not because of you. You did the best you could for them, you survived the best you could and... and you still lost.

I don't know, I guess that's not very comforting. Still, if you had survived then how much worse could you have gotten? I'd never have known you.

I don't mind my own death so much. I've found things here I would never have back home.

But theirs I think about every night.

I think about the Infected as they were when they were alive. It's my men's deaths. Every decision I made as a leader was an absolute disaster.
