My day:

3:15am: Get up and zombie to the kitchen
3:45am: fed, cleaned, and dressed
4:15am: depart abode for local airport with shuttle service
4:50am: dropped dad off at local airport with shuttle service to LAX
5:20am: arrive at work
2:00pm: take lunch
5:00pm: Leave work
7:00pm: Get home
8:51pm: FINALLY DONE WITH THE DOODLE A DAY, YES.

For some reason it doesn't quite feel like doodle-a-day if I'm not frantically drawing it during the hours before midnight thinking that I'm not going to make it (and occasionally, with accidents like spilling water over my keyboard or the drawing program I'm trying to update not downloading, etc)....

So I went to Souplantation with some friends today, and lo and behold it was awesome! They had French Onion Soup, which was not on their website menu (and one of my favorites), and I also got to try the seasonal Pumpkin and Cranberry muffins, the Pumpkin Bisque, and the Pumpkin and Caramel cake. The last was especially good! I'm really full now...

Somehow, I made it!

Drawing on the laptop is HARD, even though at least I got the tablet and an older version of openCanvas to work. Ugh ugh ugh. I started so many drafts but then deleted them because it would've taken WAY too long (I got home around 10:40pm from Coffee night) and I kinda wanted to make the deadline for today.@_@
