You're my backbone
So talking with mom last night must've triggered something, because I had extremely amusing dreams involving Dean (from Supernatural), Pepper and Tony (from Iron Man) and various people from my work. There was also at least two fine katanas (Thankfully no one in my dream declared them to be made by Hattori Hanzo (?)), one classy hot spring resort, a few cruises and cruise ships, and a few Mexican standoffs (except with swords?). The CEO of my company was in my dream and we had a very serious discussion of which I cannot remember a word of, except that it did end in a really cool swordfight (just not between me and him).
I went in to work today for a few hours and the co-worker that's slaving away at the report I used to have to slave away at (I still need to slave away, just not today, apparently. My service will start tomorrow, bright and incredibly early) really wanted to see the World cup finals game, so we went to a sports bar which ended up being packed and there were ten groups ahead of us. So we went next door to the sushi place that also happened to have the game on ('m pretty sure EVERYONE had the game on) and ate there instead, lingering wayyyy too long, but in time to see the scoring of the lone goal! It was so exciting!
