I've seen the future; what ultimately tears us all apart isn't racism or sexism or classism. No, no, no. It ends up being word-choice-ism.
Anyhugh, you choose - between the two options, which would you use - guys or folks - in these statements?

All of the above statements were overheard by me here on campus. In all cases, Guys was the word of choice. In the first two cases, it was a woman speaking to other women. In the third case, it was a woman speaking to a mixed-gender group.
I tend to say folks, but sometimes I say guys.
