* You could say Maito Gai was very confused when he woke to find that his back felt heavier than usual. We see him leap to his feet and dash quickly to the mirror, obviously feeling the wind resistance from the unfamiliar appendages he had sprouted the night before, as he is moving slower than his usual breakneck speed. Pausing at the mirror he stared in astonishment at the enormous, sparkling, rainbow patterned wings that now spread from his shoulder blades. A broad grin spread across his face, although Adstring's strange events had been bothersome in the past that I couldn't help but think that this one was amazing. *
"Although they seem to cut down on my speed a little, they are full of the vibrant colors of youth! I cannot wait to show my adorable students, and my Eternal Rival!! "
* He posed dramatically; one knee to his chest, wings spread above his head, with his arms paralleling them at his sides. His teeth sparkled although there was no sun in the room, and his wings to seem to shake with the same ridiculous energy that drove his life. His two green fire lizards were swooping around his head trilling in surprise at the development. One landed on his back and began to preen his feathers.

" I wonder if Lee has been gifted in the same manner! I should go see him. It will be interesting to train with these new additions!"

I wonder if we can hover or even fly with them!! If I find I cannot, then I shall do 6500 squats!!!
