[What Nightmares Might Come, Active/Open]

When: Night 001, early on in the night
What: Nina plays, Ed worries.

Someone had left a bunch of little toy animals in the drawer of the desk. She didn't think the owner of the house would mind if she played with them at all. Or at least, she hoped not, cause they were a lot of fun.
Ed had told her she should stay in here when night time came, because there were bad things in the dark, and even if she was bored, she would do as she was told.
And play with the animals.
Or at least, she thought they were animals. Two of them looked like puppies, but she didn't know most of the rest. She knew what a horse was, but there was a big one with huge ears and a big one with big teeth and she had no idea what they might be. Maybe Edward would know? Or maybe Mister Midnighter, Or Mister Hizashi, or Mister Luke, or Mister Leo or maybe Miss Liz and Mister Leon.
She was sure a lot of them knew a lot more than she did, even Mister Mello and Mister Hypnos, though she was sure they wouldn't like it if she asked them a lot of questions.
She kept her arms looped around the stuffed monkey, leaning forward and pitching her voice so the animals could talk and go on adventures together. The night, for the moment, did little to effect her. The candles burning on the desk kept it bright enough,and if she was tired or hungry, she'd go to sleep.
