What: Nina plays in the safe room

Mister Tim had said it would be safe here, and so Nina should stay. She didn't know why it was safe here, cause it sounded like something bad really wanted to get inside, but she liked the plants and the green smells and she liked the rooms and the warm spot near the fire.
She had her toys, and the battered stuffed monkey, and a blanket and a pillow and it was nice. The windows were big and she could see outside.
If Alexander and daddy had been here, it would almost be like home.
The look wooden animals had been set around her on the floor, and Nina had settled in to make childish animal noises for them, enjoying the game enough that she didn't feel at all afraid of the night.
