So Nano is over, and I won. Whee! I finished the month with 50,690 words which is actually 91 more than I thought I had, haha. I have to wonder why exactly the counter came up with a higher number, but I don't think hacking the scripts will warrant an invitation back next year so I'll leave it alone. I'm still curious, of course.
Sugar and India are home, happy happy. I realized just the other day how incredibly hard it's going to be coming up with Indian names, because I had a really hard time the last couple of years and that was only with one goat bred to Kashmir. This year I've got 4, and a Kashmir daughter who's been bred to another buck. That means all of my kids will be related to Kashmir and need some sort of Indian reference in their name. Dad says I should go through the books and name them all after places in India, but of course the two times I named kids in foreign languages (Creme de la Creme and Masala Malai) didn't turn out so well. *sigh*
Now we're trying to come up with names for all the rest of our kids this year. Other than Angie, I believe, and the Nubians of course (well, and Trish) they've all been bred to Cal and Omie. Omie's kids are fairly easy, anything spiritual or whatever will work. Cal is short for California Dreamin' so now we've got even more music added in. I still think we're probably going to end up with some sort of surfer theme this year, argh.
I am dying to make Christmas plans right now. Seriously. I have to visit Jazz and Amanda, have to, have to, have to. Wah. But of course, it's almost 11 and neither one is available....sigh. I can't wait though, really. I miss my twin and my rebel sistah muchly.
Now I'm running out of things to say and I feel like I want to go swing...but it's insanely cold (should check that, actually) and I dunno. I'm having a really good time chatting right now though, and someone's just suggested that my next NaNo should be a caprine murder mystery, ahaha... Taking into account the circumstances its' basis, however, it would definitely have to be published under a pseudonym, LOL.
Oh well, I suppose I should run though....or jog. Or perhaps frolic.
;) ta! <3
