The Sorcery Club
My boring original characters. no rly. My English is bad and I probably forget a bunch of things while typing and there's probably a bunch of typos throughout this whole entry, so if you find stupid mistakes by me, just laugh and point them out.

(Majutsu Kenkyuukai; the Sorcery Club)
Magic was widely used in the world until witch hunting started spreading and that caused all magic users to flee and hide. As technology advanced, the lesser need for magic decreased the amount of magic users and you rarely see them in the present. But Steve is different! With a huge passion for magic, he optimistically dreams of bringing magic back to the world, so he started a little effort in achieving this dream.
He started the Sorcery Club.
Steve (full name is Steven but surname is still impending =3=)
(age 17 but in year 1 of high school)
British. He made a contract with the demon Lucifer (lame name and might change it but I'm quite attached to it by now =_=;) and sacrificed his right eye for it, where now Lucifer 'lives' in. Steve ran away from home and for various reasons came to Japan and started the Sorcery Club. Is quite full of confidence with himself and everything must go in his way or he'll make Lucifer eat you up! ... No, really, he's eaten up umpteens of people just because they were in his way.
He was 'asexual' at first but later on as he grew attached to Yoshida, it turns into a crush.
His family back in England consists of father, mother and older brother. His mother is actually..... His older brother is also actually.....!!
... I have more things to talk about him but it's getting spoilery! \o/
Design notes: He was inspired by Walter from Tales of Legendia, in the sense that I wanted someone like Walter who is exactly the opposite of him. Walter never smiled at all in Legendia so that's why I make Steve smile all the time... ._.
Yoshida Yasuhiro (吉田安弘)
(age 17, high school year 2)
First member of the Sorcery Club and that automaticly makes him the vice president of the club. He loved fantasies and magical stuff since he was a kid but being the only child of a doctor who heads a big hospital, it's arranged that he follows his father's footsteps so he had to let go of his belief in magic. Meeting Steve was what brought back his faith in the existance of magic and he may not let go about it much but Steve means a lot to him for that. Just, uh, not in that way, unfortunately for Steve. >_>;
Likes to read and studies well so his grades are quite good to not disappoint his parents, but he still is a little rebellious towards his father for pressuring him so he has quite a carefree and apathetic attitude towards his surroundings. "Nothing else matters as long as my grades are high". Since he's a bookworm, he also reads a lot of fantasy novels and manga. Not up to otaku standard, but he knows some things about the otaku world. :P
Sometime after Kanon joined the club, he got into a relationship with Ruri and grew quite obsessive of her.
Design notes: I'm still not used to drawing him but I always make sure there are those 4 'main strands' on his hair that defines him. 8D;; (Well, 3 if it's a side view) Also, HIS LEGS AREN'T AS SHORT AS THIS PIC SHOWS. All these pics were done as doodles while I was working on Guriha stuff so I wasn't paying attention to anatomy, sob. OTL
Kasuga Kanon (春日花音）
(age 16, high school year 1)
Second member of the Sorcery Club. Despite this weird order, she's actually the main character of this manga. XD Steve dragged her into the clubroom, thinking she wanted to join (when she had only 0.5% interest at the time) and she kept detesting that she had no interest in joining but after Steve demonstrated Lucifer by eating up the baseball club's president, she decided to shut up out of fear and thus, she (bitterly) became a part of the club. Not wanting to let other people fall into her footsteps, she secretly tries all sorts of efforts to make people not come anywhere near the clubroom. 8D; (Steve's too stupid to notice)
Later on she starts to enjoy being part of the club, though. Develops a crush on Steve later on, in fact, but she's a tsundere. =3= Has a little sister named Kana who's still in elementary school and Kanon's quite overprotective of her, therefore she's also a siscon. And a tomboy. People also easily mistake her for a boy until they notice the bulge on her chest. (Tru fax: That's exactly how my manga club members reacted to her at first) She has so much in her personality, hahahah!! \o/
Um, this manga originally had Yoshida as the main character but he was too hard for me to 'move' and later I realized that things are a lot easier when I write things in her POV, therefore she's been the main character of the manga so far. XD;
Ruri (I forget what's her surname OTL)
(age 16, high school year 1)
Timid and lack of self confidence, Ruri definitely blends into the crowd. She was in the same middle-high school with Yoshida and kept a crush for him throughout all the years and even went to the same school as Yoshida just to follow him. Is a victim of bullies and she was quite suicidal but she made a bet to herself: if she confessed her feelings to Yoshida and he doesn't return it, then she'll take away her own life. But to her surprise, Yoshida did. And so they got into a relationship and she's full of happiness with it. ... Or is she?
Yoshida thought he would get Ruri into the club while Kanon was against the idea but it turns out that Steve didn't want her to join anyway (because he's jealous over Ruri taking away Yoshida's heart)

In her suicidal state, the spirit of an old witch got into Ruri's body and mentally communicates with her. The witch offered her a way to make a love potion (well, in this case, a perfume) and, being desperate, Ruri took the offer. She succeeded in getting Yoshida's love but is it real love? Despite being happy with Yoshida, she still feels guilt. What will happen to this two in the future!? Will she and Steve get into some bitch fight!? DUN DUN DUN DUUUUNNNN *punched* And because of the witch that's inside her, she can also cast magic but she doesn't tell anybody about it.
Kamiki Akito （神木光斗）
(age 16; high school year 1)
Akito is the youngest child of a family full of witches (his mother and 4 older sisters). Everyone except his father share the same trait: They all have long lower eyelashes. XD His mother teaches all of her kids magic but he and Hina doesn't like magic. In fact, Akito's the only one (besides his father) who can't use magic (they all blame him for "following his father" :P) so instead he only learns theories, to his disgust. He thinks magic is so in the past and that everyone should just catch up to technology (nobody in the family uses cellphones except his father and Minase).
Was quite oblivious to the Sorcery Club until... that club created havoc in front of his eyes one day. Still, he vowed to have nothing to do with the club because HE. DOESN'T. GIVE. A. DAMN. FOR. MAGIC!! But...
SPOILERS? (as stupid as this sounds...)
He accidentally caught Ruri in magical action, lol. And since he learned stuff about potions, he noticed the love potion (er, perfume) that Ruri uses and knew what's going on between their relationship. Ruri blackmailed him to keep her secret but he had no interest in revealing it anyway since he knows how serious witch business is. He did advice Ruri that love potions are no go, though, and that casted more guilt on her. Since Akito holds Ruri's secret, they kinda became friends in the sense that Akito's the only one Ruri can talk about her issues. I'm not sure yet if I wanna make Akito develop a crush for Ruri or not but there's the possibility.
Akito's family has elements as names: Sora (そら; mother), Takashi （陸; father), Minase (水瀬; age 25), Hina (火菜; age 23), Fuuka (風花; age 19), Chio (地穏; age 18). Chio is also in the same school as Akito. She probably doesn't hold any big roles in the story though. And gaaahh, I forgot to draw it down in the pic but Akito used to wear glasses when his hair was longer. He thought glasses didn't go well with his new haircut so he changed to contacts.
Unnamed Girl lol
She was created just because there's a scene I wanna make with Steve and I wanted a female Steve, personality-wise. :P A witch who came from a foreign land (I... forget which country she's from... FERIA, DID I TELL YOU ANYTHING ABOUT HER!? REMEMBER US MAKING A LIST OF NAMES? YEAH, THOSE NAMES WERE FOR HER) just to meet Steve. Er, the reason is still not confirmed at the moment. She's quite a cheerful girl and happily goes on with Steve's pace so they get along quite well (which caused a bit of jealousy from Kanon).
Eeeer, I haven't drawn her in any of the stories so far, therefor I don't have much on her character yet.
WHY DID I MAKE THIS CRAP?
It was back in April last year, when I joined the manga club at my school and I had to think up of an original story. I wanted to make a story that has something to do with school and magic, therefor we get the Sorcery Club. For characters, I just wanted my favourite type of characters (emo hair plus tomboys) so I created a Happy Walter, a tomboy (Kanon) and an apathetic guy (Yoshida) and that's the basis of the concept. It started all simple and all but I started to think more about these characters and I thought it'd be a waste to just use them for only one story so I decided to use them again and again and somehow I expanded their world quite far, even as far as having lots of ideas that I doubt I would ever draw for the club. XD; (like Yoshida's background and Ruri's secret and there are also time-travelling ideas I have in mind)
Characters' designs are very simple because they were created out of spurt. :/ I change them a bit from time to time but I keep forgetting what I change therefore there's a lot of inconsistencies in my designs the whole time. XD;; There are a few characters I have in mind, like the student president (come to think of it, none of the guys in this story seem to have normal eyes OTL) and his assistant. Characters that I already drew before in a gaiden manga are Clara and Lionel. Clara is Steve's ancestor and was the last witch in Steve's family line.
