TV shows catching up
Sort of back. Am still a bit busy but I'm slowly catching up, especially on some shows I've been missing for the past 2 weeks so here are my should-have-been-weekly reviews.
Heroes
Episode 4
Oookay, so Ando's surname is actually 安藤. Need to get used to someone with the name Masahashi then. (I'm sorry, it's always been implanted in my head that any names ending with "-hashi" are surnames, so... =_=;;)
Um, NBC promoting selfcest much? Oh, and this episode's Blue Screen sucks, NBC.
I don't know how the Peter fans are taking this, but I kinda prefer this Peter over his old self. Less emo (but I miss his emo hair), more badass and he kinda got a psycho smirk going on for awhile = my thing! And, uh, I find the two people around him cool. No meany Mama Petrelli and Nathan (I only like him when he's around Hiro) therefore KAMON NYUU OT3
Ed already ranted over the Claire-West-Noah case for me, so I'll rest it. I probably don't feel that angry because I get the feeling (or maybe just hoping) that Noah'll turn out not dead, just like what happened to Peter last time. As for the kissing scene, I simply wash it in my head by imagining the Haitian coming into that scene and kicking West's head away. Still, damn, West is hawt. I just wish he'd be a better person.

I don't know what they were using in in the first season but GET IT BAAAAACK =__= I swear to God, this season's blue screen just SUCKS. IT'S SO OBVIOUSLY A BLUE SCREEN DAMMIT. Nothing seemed out of place before this so why NOW?
Jessica (I think?) showed up for awhile, yays!! I may like both Niki/Jessica but I'm kinda biased to Jessica, so... XD;;
Matt/Nathan, huh? Promoting one pairing at a time, NBC?
NO RICKY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ;;__;; Blargh, you just had to ruin my newly found OT3 dangit!! But Peter turning out to be a girl is the highlight of this episode.
Not much progress in Hiro's story. The text on the scrolls Ando and the man was reading weren't showing what they were reading at all. Pfft, can't they make it less obvious for those who can read Japanese? They better fix that once that episode airs in Japan.
No Claire and Sylar this time, boo.

Dragonaut -the Resonance-
I get the feeling no one is giving a damn over this anime BUT I DO, DAMMIT, I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH FOR THE DAMN WRONG REASONS. And it doesn't have anything to do with the SOS Brigade.

I think you should get the idea by now that every episode will always have a naked male butt slapped right in front of your face.
Aaaand this show is about a male-in-distress with his maiden knight!
I... I'm already liking this pairing. OTL Usually I don't like useless male main characters found in almost every other harem anime out there, but Dragonaut isn't a harem anime and Jin is a useless male main character that's so damn girly that it makes me like him, for some reason. Probably because he keeps making me laugh by how maiden-like he can get. Aaaand he has a male yandere after him, which is Kazuki btw, and everyone on NicoVideo gladly labeled him "yanhomo" right at the spot.
Now meet Amagi, a guy I was looking terribly forward to see ever since I checked the series' official website right after watching the first episode because, ta-dah, he has emo hair!
And Amagi here has KH2 Riku as his partner!
Guess what? Amagi first showed up in episode 2, turned psychotic right at the spot, got his partner Riku Spirytus to go berserk and transform into his real dragon self and create chaos, and then ATE UP AMAGI TO DEATH.
UM.
THANKS FOR KILLING OFF MY CRUSH RIGHT IN THE EPISODE HE FIRST SHOWED UP!?
And then dragon!Riku Spirytus got killed by the other Dragonauts in ep 3. M-my supposed-to-be OTP... OTL I took a bunch of screenshots of these two but since I'm sure nobody else give a damn over them, I'm putting up most of my screenshot of them! MEMORIZE THEM. AND REMEMBER THEM AS THE UNDER-DEVELOPED MINOR CHARACTERS THAT MAIKI LOVED BUT DIED RIGHT AFTER THEY SHOWED UP FOR A LITTLE.
Well then, I'll just keep on watching this show for the Male-In-Distress and his Maiden Knight. And the nekkid butt shots. Plot? What plot?
And before I forget, raikochan did an awesome NicoVideo Tutorial that's a thousand times better and more detailed than mine, so if you have an account (or would like to have one) and know jack of Japanese, I'd recommend reading her site.

A... Anime Proficiency Test? So what, if you miraculously got to Level 1, you can easily get into the anime industry or something? Er, no thanks. If someone takes this as serious as the Japanese Language Proficiency Test or Kanji Proficiency Test, I... seriously need to raise an eyebrow at you.
