Reading this paper right now and these guys are all: "At the suggestion of a reviewer, we..." and at one point they were all: we know this makes no sense statistically...
Basically: "We think this is stupid and we don't care who knows"

Apparently the best ideas come up in a bar--great idea from labmates: brains in space. Maybe if I do a phD, I could be co-supervised by NASA [call me!].
So I just found out that Bill Nye the science guy is the executive director of the Planetary Society and also supported the demotion of Pluto to a dwarf planet.
