Now bring me some figgy pudding...
I have been Christmas baking all day. I am now very tired, and it's only 4pm. I actually got up EARLY to cook. Which is weird, cause I only cook once a year and I'm really not one to wake up early a lot.
So, I baked a chocolate slice. It's looking pretty great, iced it and dusted some icing sugar over the top... Baked a batch of ginger cookies, they have turned out a hell of a lot better than last year's go (shapes used: gingerbread man, teddy bear, heart and question mark. I really only used the question mark cause I know Rhun will think it's funny, but I can pass them off as candy canes to the less humour-inclined family members)... Baked a batch of honey joys, actually I started with them, and they could have been better but they were also a lot better than last year... and I made JELLY CUPS. They look great, there's 3 tiers of jelly - strawberry on the bottom, then green apple in the middle and raspberry on the top. Probably should have left the strawberry to set for a little longer before I did the green apple cause those 2 sort of blend into each other (which is sorta cool in itself) but the green apple and the raspberry have a really definite line between them and it looks rad.
And that brings you up to speed on my day. Oh, and I paid for my CTP green slip. Huzzah.
My next mission is to locate the double-sided tape to better affix bows to candles that I prettied up a few days ago. I like to prettyfy.
And then I'll be bored. What should I do?
