DL5 Close Ups - Rikkai
Stealing the idea from aoi_kaze + distansu and Renn-chan from raynesakura (sorry ^^;;), here are the DL 5 Close Up translations, not just for the two MnE boys, but for the whole of Rikkai. Enjoy. ♥ [inarikami]
【Kanesaki Kentarou】
Dream Live 5th.
The penlights, making the arena appear like the ocean. Looking at them from the stage, inside an atmoshphere that is indeed like a dream, once again I received lots of self-confidence and bravery during this fantastic live.
Especially during FuuRinKaZan, all the people watching were like members of the Sanada Dojo themselves. The whole arena become one and our hearts have connected!!
This live was pretty large-scale and with it comes the fact, that I had to think properly about my own expressiveness. Like, if there isn't any true ability behind our acting, singing, dancing, then we will just end up looking bad, right? Still, me and my friends, with whom I've been standing on stage for more than one and a half years now, have successfully tackled a lot of things in a way fitting for the Rikkai Kings. Other members also gave everything they got, our communication with the staff was flawless and just like that, all the uneasiness was blown away the moment the performance began.
Of course we cannot make such a thing work just by ourselves. Every one of you who has been cheering us on are our friends helping us to create Tenimyu. I always think how many fantastic experiences I had by meeting a lot of people through Tenimyu. I'd love it if the myu became even bigger from now on and more and more people would get to know it. Guess I'm also a big fan of Tenimyu myself. (laugh)
So, to all the people who were there for this live:

Dream Live 5th was a concert just like a dream indeed.
Being enveloped by the light of our audience [1], being enveloped by their feelings, that was true happiness. ☆ For us Rikkai members, this live felt like presenting a compilation of our past one and the half years!
Movements, lines, lyrics, I feel I could treasure every one of them.☆
Standing on such a huge stage has been an incomparable experience! With Jackal's feelings there together with us, I think all the 8 members of Rikkai were present on the top of the stage.♪ I'm really proud of having such a team as Rikkai! Having been able to continue performing as Yukimura, the strongest one of the strongest team, has made me really happy!
Fervently hoping to be able to make a return to the dream-world that is Tenimyu: ☆

It was a lot of fun--! Standing on such a huge stage was like being in a dream. No doubt, this is what a "Dream Live" is!
This time around I haven't been able to match my rehearsal schedule with that of the Rikkai members, so I couldn't practice together with everyone. For me, however, the scene I faced with the most enthusiasm was our Golden Pair with Akaya. ☆
"Playing doubles is great!" is what me and Genki kept saying.
Everyone who's been cheering us on, everyone on the staff and everyone in the cast! Thank you very much.
For having received the opportunity to play Yanagi Renji, I couldn't be more grateful!

If you ask about my impressions concerning Dream Live, the first thing that comes to mind is: "It was fun!" This seems like an ordinary thing to say, but this is what describes it the best.
Tenimyu is coming to an end... well, no, it doesn't, but this performace made me reflect upon the things that happened until now.
One and a half years ago I stepped on stage in this huge production called Tenimyu for the first time. My teammates and my sempais, were the nicest people I could dream of. I was happy, I was a daredevil.
Winter seemed long but has passed in a heartbeat and then, my first Dream Live. Behind the stage I was overpowered by the force of the cheers, my legs were literally rooted in their spot. However, all that has turned into a great encouragement. Then, summer. Though I still have lots more to work on, during that run I managed to grow hugely as an actor. So much, that I feel I wouldn't die with regret now.
In the second winter we were standing on the stage as supporters and while we didn't have many scenes, I tried to keep the tension high in all of them with my whole power.
And then, this Dream Live. Compiling inside myself everything I did until now, I faced practice and performance both. Since this was my second live I wasn't as nervous as before, but the cheering voices of the fans is still something amazing. Again, they have become my strength and helped me to have fun till the end.
This writing is long, but any rate, what I wanted to say is: "It was fun!". Would be nice to do it again sometime.

【Baba Tooru】
Everyone, good afternoon.
In the role of Yagyuu Hiroshi, this is Baba Tooru.
How was Dream Live 5th, I wonder? Being able to share our passion with the audience with full force, in such a huge arena, was definitely the best!
Unlike in the main performances, I tried to show a bit more pumped Yagyuu than usual. The feeling of nervousness was unlike the usual one too, but since this is Dream Live, I enjoyed even that as well.
I'm grateful for having been able to be a part of this company.
Really, thank you so much.
From now on as well, please keep supporting the musical "The Prince of Tennis" and Baba Tooru both.

I'm grateful for having received the opportunity to perform in Dream Live.
Having been able to stand on such a wide stage was the birth of a new dream for me.
Thank you very much.
I still haven't forgotten the joyful cheers of the audience. The surge of the voices, echoing from the tip of my toes through my whole body, that is something one can rarely experience. It was truly a feel-good performance.
If I had the chance to appear in this play again, I'd definitely like to do it.
And even more than that...
I want to stand on stage with all the 8 members of Rikkai together.

Everyone, how was it? Seeing Bunta after such a long time.
At any rate, I wanted to close the gap and fall smoothly back in step with the members of Rikkai and charm again as Kiriyama Bunta. I was striving through practice and the actual performance thinking of this only. If you met a Rikkai and a Bunta that exceeded your expectations, then I feel honored.
During the run I managed to hurt myself, but with the support of the staff, the fans and the cast members, I was able to overcome the difficulties.
These miracles that are born from Tenimyu, are something fantastic, right? Thank you ever so much.
This still lies in the future and we don't know how things will be, but I wish for the Rikkai members, my Marui Bunta and all of you to be reunited again.
