☆ Energy ☆

Good morning, everyone.

After yesterday's performance,
I went to eat yakiniku with the members of my family. (^-^)

Because there are two performances today
and there's still a long way ahead!

This was in order to gain some stamina. (^_-)

Well then,
I'll be doing things to the fullest today!

=======

☆Seventh day☆

Good evening, everyone.

Today I had to go to another work after the performance,
so I only arrived home now.
I'll let you know the details later. (^O^)

Susan's seventh day is over.
We have finished ten performances so far.

This is barely the beginning!

Facing numerous challenges and making efforts,
I'm doing my best everyday, so please definitely come and see me!

And today is Coming of Age Day.
I've received lots of comments and letters,
thank you very much for them! [1]

Everyone who officially became an adult today,
congratulations!!

Sadly I couldn't attend the ceremonies,
but I'm doing my best at Susan!

[1] Baba turned 20 in 2008, so he also celebrates seijinshiki this year.

★ Ninth Day★

Good evening.

Ninth day of performances has finished today.

Thank you very much for the many comments!

Having been able to celebrate my coming of age on the stage,
surrounded by my senpais and the audience,
has made me very happy!

And thank you all as well!

Treasuring each and every day,
I will be working hard from now on too.

Today I also went to a magazine interview.(^0^)/

Well then, doing my best tomorrow too.

Everyone, do the same, okay?

=======

☆ Tenth Day ☆

Good evening!

Susan's tenth day has finished.

Two performances tomorrow!

On the 21st, after the performance I will be appearing on a TV talk show!
Please watch it, if you have time!

Today again, I had a meeting regarding a new work.
I was just thinking that how lucky I am, getting opportunities for work like this.

Never forgetting these feelings of gratitude,
I'll be doing my best!

Lots of people are coming down with colds lately,
is everyone all right, I wonder?

Exams and work are surely taxing these days,
so please be careful not to fall victim to the cold weather!

I'm also wearing a mask everyday to prevent the flu!

Do have any good methods for prevention?

=======

★ Eleventh Day ★

Good evening, everyone!

Eleventh day is over!

Did two performances today to my best ability! (^O^)

Thank you for the various cold-prevention tips in the comments.

It seems there are many countermeasures against cold!

Basically the most common ones were:
・Washing hands and rinsing mouth
・Eating properly and paying attention to nutrition
・Getting a proper amount of sleep

And protection via masks!

Those of you currently taking exams, do your best!

I'm cheering you on! (^0^)/

Sending you some Baba fighting power.

Power~。

So that you can make good use of the knowledge
you've gathered with hard work:

Power~!

There's also a lucky charm hidden in this entry.

What might it be...?

☆ Twelfth Day ☆

Good evening, everyone.

Lately it's "good evening" every day, huh? (^_^)

Today's update has gotten late again, sorry. m(__)m

Now I'm going to reveal the answer to yesterday's entry! (^o^)v

Since it was pretty difficult,
I wouldn't have thought that there'll be people who can guess it...

But there were---!
I was surprised!

The answer is...

Yesterday I updated at 8:55.

The 8, the spread-out fan [1] plus "goukaku" (success) = the 5 (go) of the pentagon (gokaku [2]) plus karma (en) = the 5 of the 5 yen coin (goen). [3]

"You should use a pentagon-shaped pencil for exams;
five is a good number;
the offering you make when visiting a shrine should be a five yen coin" -
From staff I heard this kind of talk about lucky charms a lot.
You can even pay attention to the time, so the clock shows 5 minutes, and things like that.

Because of this, I updated the blog at 55 minutes.

I'm sending this 55 to all of you!
I'm sendingPower 55-fold!
That's what it was supposed to mean.

Accidentaly it was also eight o'clock,
so I made up this lucky charm from the spread-out fan, the 8 (+success)
and the double five of 'goen'. (^0^)/

There was also a guess of "passing the exam (shiken wo tooru)" = "Tooru!" (徹). That surprised me too!

And also: that since it was the eleventh day,
it is a good day (ii hi). [4]
That's a good one! Is what I thought.

Like, "ah, I see!"

Thank you very much!

All of you still taking exams,
do your best!
---------

[1] The kanji for 8「八」 looks like a spread fan, and symbolizes good luck and prosperity in Japan.
[2] "Goukaku" (合格) means passing an exam, and "gokaku" (五角) is pentagon.
[3] The result, "goen" means "five yen". Karma is "go-en" where the "en" is the same kanji as in lucky charm (engi).
....I'm sorry, I know this is very hard to get, I'm not sure I get it myself, either. ;______; The brackets are all explanations I put there to make this easier to understand. .... Baba, you almost made me cry with this one!!!! *keels over*
[4] 11 = ichi + ichi = the number 1 looks like い + い = ii = good. ... I think.
