Roaring twenties, ho!
While waiting for my crepe to arrive, I've been getting myself very excited about making a 1920s dress. It's an era I'm very found of, and have always wanted to do. I've been looking at a lot of inspiring images, and am pretty psyched to start.
The only thing is, in classic me style, while there are many modern undergarments that will work perfectly well for the 1920s (a modern slip and sports bra, so start), I now really WANT a cute little silky 20s teddy. I love the ones that have built-in bloomers! And the more I think about it, the more I think I really will need to make a proper bandeau to bring my Fs into the As they're supposed to look like in this style.
I'm going to do a bit of patterning and muslining tonight and see what works.
