Interviews...
So, University appying season is upon us and I'm reluctant to post anything on here, cos to be quite honest I dont want to think too much about the whole thing. I'm enjoying life at Tapton far too much to think about trecking off to some hell hole of another city yet but unfortunately everything has to be planned in advance and thats all thats been going on at the moment, well... all that I'm willing to write here anyway :P
So yeah, interview at Derby last Tuesday. Was pretty quick and easy. We had a lightning fast tour round the facilities (looked really good actually) and then (there was only two of us btw) we each had a quick interview with two tutors. Apprently my portfolio wasnt really big enough and it wasnt really the right course for me but what the hell, I got an offer on the foundation year (Year Zero: its a four year course) and I'm apparently being put in contact with the guy at Derby who runs the Commercial Photography course which should be the better one for me, so I'm told.
Blackpool have given me an interview too, on the 25th whilst I just got one from one of my biggest interests, Staffordshire, today for the 1st of February so I need to get my portfolio improved very rapidly! Still, that will probably involve including several art projects and some other bits and pieces and that'll be it probably. So to in short;
Derby:- Conditional Offer. Blackpool:- Interview. Staffordshire:- Interview. Leeds:- Unheard. Leeds College Art and Design:- Unheard. Newcastle:- Unheard.
Still, no one I know has heard from any of these last ones yet so I'm not too worried at the moment...
In other news; Kev is back to spending his money on CDs he can't afford again, Deep Purple has arrived (it Rawks!) and Dragonforce has been posted (Hurrah!). Other than this there isnt anthing else to say, life is good, going to steve's birthday tomos which should be good fun and... thats it...
