A Quick Update...
Well folks its been a great holiday and a truely memorable last Christmas at school, before university beckons and everyone I know is split-up for good (or the next few years anyway! :P).
So whats happened, well Christmas was good, I got a new Speedlite for my Camera and several CDs and DIO!!! on music DVD etc etc, the usual Kevy type stuff. So I ended up listening to power ballards (Say what you like :P) and Nightwish as well as the Wishbone Ash bought by axeman2002 . So all in all, a rockin Christmas, with some picture takin thrown in. I still have loads of DVDs I need to watch on my shiney new surround sound player :P (sorry!). There's Underworld (already seen, great film), Matchstick Men (Nick Cage, for film studs), Blackhawk Down (film studs), East is East, Conan, and countless other films recorded at one time or another *gasp* I almost forgot SPINAL TAP!!! Saw a clip of this (thats right the "11" clip) and now really want to see the rest, looks right up my street.
But yeah, rest of hols was spent in Sheffield mostly, we walked in the snow to get into a Christmasy spirit, I fell over on some ice while crossing a river and got wet in addition to embarassing myself but Oh well :P. That was on the Thursday before New Year and that was pretty cool. On Friday, after a day of rapid working on my art, we were all at Hazz's for her New Year's Eve Eve party, an excellent time had by all methinks! On New Year's Eve I was out a football match (Derby County an unfortunate draw) and then off to Sheffield again for Souter's New Year's party, once again a good evenin! So a shattering few days but well worth it!
Recently I've been taking lots of photos due to two things; one the acquisision of a speedlite (flash unit btw, fits atop the camera) and two, an interview at Derby Uni and i just heard tod- yesterday that I also have one at Blackpool College, so i have been preparing a portfolio. Thanks to all who have looked through it, made useful comments (particularly the confidence building ones) and anyone who worked with me in the photos! Much appreciation to you all!! And that about tkes us to today, where I will be at my interview (hopefully, fingers crossed touch wood!) and so I have to leave...
I think I covered all... Oh yeah went to see Kong, dont go its boring! :P
