In order to fully appreciate and get the full effect of Speed Racer, one should be buzzed, drunk, high, really out of it, or any combination thereof.

Though I do wish MarioKart had some tracks like in the movie. Maybe a MarioKart - Speed Racer edition?

Indiana Jones saves the world, again. Yay!

It's not going to win any awards for plot or any other serious things, but it's Indy. Fighting bad guys. On a car chase through the forest on a cliff. What more do you want?

A pleasant break from almost all-day thesis work. Who knew making tables could be such a pain.

Going to UCLA ruined movies for me. Too many movies at "college" are set on campus. Including: Harvard, Princeton, Cal, and your various fake variations on UCLA.

I'm watching "Peaceful Warrior" at the moment...one moment they're on Shattuck Ave, the next they're running through Royce Quad. I'm waiting for the Campanile in place of Powell.

Because it's been a long week, and because I'm finally taking advantage of Netflix instant viewing, and because "Bring It On" always was a great "don't think about a damn thing" movie, I'm watching "Bring It On Again ( Read more... )

Out of people I've asked...two have work, one's not interested, two are going to another lecture, and one has claimed homework/midterm (on Thursday). Boo, where's the movie interest that was so prevalent in LA?!

Tomorrow continues to be a ridiculously full day. After having a triple-booking for the lunch period, I decided to to go to Dean Curran's lecture on Religion, Public Health, and HIV/AIDS.
