Amatrra is a Aryvedic (आयुर्वेद) remedy, spice and herb shop, and Aryvedic treatment "clinic" in Artesia, Los Angeles, a modest expatriate Indian community. Here, Chandrika and co. serves whoever comes into her shop giving wellness advice and offers ayurvedic therapeutic and health services.

Theraputic services are rendered only after a consultation and focus is on balancing the doshas. Consultation will discuss diet (as in nutrition), exercise, lifestyle and determining your dosha. Treatment could include Pizhichil, Netradhara, Pichu, Podikkizhi, Snehadhara, Udwartana, Thalapothichil, Talam, Dhanyamiadhara, Avagaha sweda, akshi tarpana, IIakkizhi or sudation therapy with herbal bundles, combination thereof of whatever else might be needed or suggested. A complete course of rejuvenation treatment known as Panchakarma is offered only by appointment.

The register area (notice there is no register. Instead there is a donation box. Chandrika has
very rarely had trouble keeping her store open, stocked and herself clothed, and even with
fortunate circumstances, she has enough to donate to charity. Often enough people present her
with gifts of clothes and such.
