I love Jim
I finally caught up on the Office today. I'd missed this past week when I went to Orlando with Anne for her birthday. And saw Hanson. And had fun. So I suppose I could be considered a fan. Oh well :) I think i've given up on being cool a long time ago.
Anyway, so there's Jim trying to goad Dwight into talking during work and he started talking about Battlestar Galactica. And then got everything terribly wrong. I laughed so hard I was crying. He totally mixed in Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and Star Trek. I think what he actually said was that BSG was about a guy named Dumbledore who was trying to pilot his space ship with a bunch of Klingons to Mordor.
I love Jim. He is so funny.
In other news, I am frantically trying to pack. It sounds so great to think of moving into a new place, but it is an entirely different matter to pack and clean and actually get yourself to the new place. I hate moving. I really like being in new places though. So I'll just have to get used to it.
In other other news, am reading The Historian and am completely enthralled. I'm deep in the part about Hungary (and getting really irritated/proud that I catch the spelling and name errors) And suddenly Hungary is all around me again. They're showing Au Pair on Family channel today (filmed in Central Park in Budapest). A couple in the store today was speaking Hungarian. And I found myself parked next to a car with a Hungarian sticker on it (not one of my family's cars). I really want to go back someday. I know it will be completely different than what i remember. But I'd like to see what it is like now, and wax nostalgic over what used to be.
