Hmmm. I'm a Mac?
I finally splurged and got a laptop for uber cheap off of ebay. A Mac. I've been wanting one for ages and I got in in my head that I would write more and it would be good to have for travelling and such. Anyway, I think I am transitioning ok. However, I am so confused by the way things appear online in some cases. For example, livejournal looks different. It asks for the date of my post and it doesn't show me an option for livejournal cut or any of the other ones I'm used to seeing except for Embed media and insert image.
Any advice for the mac newbie? Also, I now have photoshop and illustrator and such on this computer. Any idea where I can go for some basic tutorials? I want to make icons!! And other projects too, of course.
Anyway, I think I'll like this, but it's a bit more of an adjustment than I thought it would be. It took me forever to figure out how to save pictures and icons. Also copying and pasting confused me for a bit. I was so excited when I figured it out though!
Ok. I'm catching up on Flight of the Conchords S.2 and here's the quote for the day- Dave: Are you real, Bret?
