In the end, I...kind of hated Retreat. I'd like to see where the story goes in the rest of the "season" before I go into all the reasons why, but does anyone mind if, for now, I pretend that the entire volume consists only of the cover of "Part Two" and
"Harmony Comes to The Nation"? (That link has a little spoiler for pre-BS4, but it also has the entire comic, and the "Nation" in question is Colbert's. So...definitely worth a click, if you don't mind finding out some of what happens to Harmony after high school.)
My copy of "The Corbomite Maneuver" wound up skipping a lot...which wasn't actually the problem it sounds like, since it was _so incredibly slow_. There were so many pregnant pauses in this episode, they could have repopulated Graxos IV--I mean, that duplicate Earth from "Miri." In the end, I didn't actually wind up missing anything, despite it skipping a second or two every couple of minutes.
I haven't been able to watch The Office since I started work, for many of the same reasons I haven't been able to stomach The Colbert Report, but the last couple of hours have been spent viewing the mini-marathon on TBS. Jim Halpert is still the most adorable character on American primetime.
Marshall Eriksen and Lily Aldrin are right behind him on that list, though. I swear I saw Predator while flipping channels this afternoon, too. HIMYM is the best ever.
I love Terry McGinnis. Just so everybody is clear on that.
