This is why I read Peter David's blog.  Best thing I've seen all day, and I watched multiple Golden Girls episodes* and "The Beast Below"**, saw a picture of Neil Gaiman with Amber Benson***, and read Spike #4.  Hee.

And speaking of Spike, I've definitely decided to NOT read Brian Lynch's blog again until the series is over.  The end of #4 could ( Read more... )

1) See above for my spoiler warning and BizOp's explanation of the macro.

2) I'm very glad you are enjoying the basket of tea goodies! I have personally never had any of the lemon ginger cookies, but I threw them in because I thought they sounded tasty. I take it I should go get some for myself? And I've never tried that brand of lemon curd, but I bought some a few days ago for the triple-layer lemon cake I'm going to be making soon, and I'm looking forward to giving it a taste.

3) I haven't been by DeviantArt lately, but I have new stuff to post (not the GL picture, no, but it's finally next up on my art to-do list), and "mini-Lanterns" is intriguingly adorable and adorably intriguing. I'll definitely swing by and comment soon. As for your GLed version of yourself, you don't actually have to _say_ it's supposed to be you if you want to post it. And I shouldn't worry about it being thought of as a Mary Sue, anyway. I mean, with all the "Simpsonize yourself!" and the South Park maker and various other sorts of generators out there these days, plenty of people have wanted to see what they might look like in a particular style. You just did all the work yourself, which I think is to be commended. Besides, it's a really neat picture!

4) I haven't even heard of the 3rd generation Hero Maker before now, but I have a feeling I'll be playing with it a good deal in the coming days. Hee.
