Hello people.
yes, I am alive.
Swamped in books and re-learning cell structure, and DNA facts (goddammit...why can't that just sink in??), getting angry at people in class for asking for clarification of the term "people of colour" ( this is completely out of context here and I don't feel like elaborating.. basically if the very-concerned-about-racism girl had done her reading homework she wouldn't have been asking. yarr. academia.).
I'm busy.
I haven't read this much in years.
I am totally loving school, and have even managed to make a few friend like folks in some of my classes.
and, so long as that little bitch in my english class stops giving me dirty looks... I can't see there being any chance of me not succeeding due to fist fighting.
I've only heard the word "poet" whispered in my direction once and I ducked and turned the other way as quickly as I could.
I am thouroughly enjoying the anonimity I feel here.
I also found a new home in the mainish area and am happy to say goodbye to the commercial drive hipster biome ( thank you RC for that term-) after almost 4 years.
It seems I am reaping the benefits of a very intense growth spurt over the summer.
There is so much more to say... I've seen some great films, and been to a few good concerts lately... however, I need to go to class so I'll just have to leave it til' later.
