Another weird thing that I have discovered about College Station:
At home people drive like maniacs, if you don't go at least 5 miles per hour over the speed limit you are a hazard and SHOULD have your emergency lights on merely because everyone around you is going so fast. If the speedlimit is 40 most of the traffic goes 50-55. Okay, easy. Understandable. At home I am one of those annoying granny type drivers who only goes 45 in a 40.
Now I wan all of my fellow houstonians to brace themselves for this next bit...
In college station the flow of traffic is 5 miles per hour UNDER the speedlimit! I feel like I'm going crazy when I am driving down Texas going the speedlimit. Today I wad driving down Goerge Bush at 10pm (speeding time) and there was a line of people going 10 miles per hour under the speed limit. TEN! I was naturally appauled, and I pulled into the other lane and passed them all quickly. But still! How des anyone get anywhere?
