I have finally set up this LJ community. PLEASE join, um, if you want. I plan to post thoughts and articles and "stuff" regarding structural adjustment programs, militarization, occupation, borders, issues of legitimate government / authority, the UN, peace & conflict, war, sustainability, the EU, neo-liberalism, violence, non-violence, structural violence, direct violence, the world bank, the IMF, democracy, dialogue processes, social responsibility, free trade, fair trade, NAFTA, latin america, the middle east, resources, politics, civil liberties, human rights, diplomacy...
I encourage people to join and post, and respect a variety of opinions on these topics. However, blatant disrespect in this community, or posts which are overtly disregarding the general principles of diplomatic resolutions and political / social / intellectual / personal responsibility for a sustainable future will not be tolerated. Meaning I will delete them, and you. In a non-violent sort of way.
