Dressing for Success in an atypical corporate culture

Okay, here's a tricky one.

Conventional wisdom dictates a business suit for job interviews. Usually skirted. This is slowly changing . . . but has it changed enough?

Anyone have any thoughts on what to do when:

1) It's 95 - 100 degrees. Or more.
2) You're interviewing at a Very Large Company Famous for Thumbing Their Nose At Traditional Corporate Culture.
3) Your body shape is such that if you wore a ladies' business suit, you'd look like you belonged in some sexy His Girl Friday-type pin-up calendar.

Can I ditch the suit idea? I'm making an emergency shopping trip tomorrow to see what I can find. Unfortunately, I won't have time to get anything altered, so it may be slim pickings. (I seem to have gotten a size larger since I last needed an interview suit).

Do you think, given the combination of the weather and the specific corporate culture that I can get away with a simple twinset and either dress pants or a plain skirt and pumps?

I really don't want to have to buy a suit right now, if I don't have to. Thoughts? Outfit suggestions?
