El fin de semana pasado

So this past weekend was good. It really wasn't super great, but it wasn't bad. Friday night I stayed in, ordered a pizza (sm), damn near ate the whole thing, and watched Fever Pitch and Hanging Up (twice). I was supposed to go out with Chels, but she ended up having to work, so things didn't go as planned. I ended up at Brittany and Mere's drinking margarita's and watching The Wedding Date. The movie was awesome and I had a great time just chillin' with Brit; kinda like back in the day when we used to live together--good times. Saturday, slept in till like 1p, tried to go pick up my mom's b-day package from the post office where I learned it was closed on Saturdays, ate Subway with Juan, he went to work, and then...what did I do? Oh yeah, I went home, did laundry, took a shower, went to Mag with Brit and Mere, pigged out on chips & queso, and a brownie a la mode. Yummy! Then around 7:30p I went to La Zona Rosa with Michael and French to see Cowboy Mouth. We ended up leaving early cause we just weren't feeling the groove of things, I mean, we ended up having more fun talking with my friend Ryan who was also there than watching the bands play. So we left, went to Applebee's, got a margarita, and then went back to Micheal's to wait for Juan to get out of work. Juan locked his door, so I couldn't get in to hang out in there till he got off.  He gets back from work, doesn't have a key to unlock hi door, so he breaks into his room! Looking back it was pretty funny, but at the time, I was pretty tired and all I wanted to do was lay down. Sunday, Juan, French and I went to this Mexican bakery, which by-the-way, seemed like a little piece of home. It was awesome. We bought tortas, and sweet bread, came back to Juan's and then later Juan and I went to go see Doom which was pretty good considering I loathe video games. Afterwards, Juan, Michael, French, and I went to Smokeybones for dinner, and then Juan and I rented Racing Stripes, which was a pretty cute movie. Now that I think about it, it was a pretty movie-filled weekend. All in all it was good though. I finally got my b-day gift from my parents and I love it. It's a beautiful Guardian Angel charm bracelet, and I absloutely love it!!

Ugh, now I have to get through another week. Hope everyone has a smashing good one!

p.s. I miss all my girls from back home. Must say, I'm totally looking forward to winter break!!!
