Being 21
IS AWESOME!
Yeah this weekend was pretty great. Here's the lowdown on what happened:
FRIDAY
Jessica and I went shopping finally to buy stuff to decorate the apartment. It looks amazing!! Later, I called a bunch of my friend's to go to Katz's with me, but a lot of people couldn't come. I was sad, but there wasn't much I could do. I called Brittany to see if she was going to come.
ME: Hey, I am having a dinner tonight at Katz's and I wanted to know if you could come.
BRITT: Oh hey, sorry. I am in Houston. I came home this weekend. Sorry.
ME: Is everything okay?
BRITT: Yeah everything is fine. Have fun tonight. I guess I'll see you next week. Bye.
ME: Bye.
Yeah that made me feel pretty shitty. I cried a lot that night about how my friends in ATX don't love me, and I was told by several people (Juan and my mom) that everything would be fine. Have faith and besides, it's not really even your b-day yet. Well, Juan, Jessica, Adam, Amanda, and I went to Katz's anyways. Juan and Adam bought me a margarita and a shot of tequila at midnight. Super sweet. Then we (Juan Jessie and Adam) went back to our apartment, and played Catchphrase.
SATURDAY
I didn't do anything all day, and then around 5p Juan came over. He had made a slide show of our past 5 yrs together. It completely made me cry every time I watched it. Then he took me to Dave and Buster's for dinner for our anniversary. I had a "Walk the Plank" for me first legal drink. It was yummy. Then Juan and I played skeeball, where btw I totally wooped his ass! Then we went back to the apartment where everyone had set up a
SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!
It was awesome to say the least. All of my closest ATX friends were there, and Jessie completely decorated our apartment in purple stars with all kinds of super cute stuff. There was queso, olives, cookies, brownies, and lotsa alcohol. Everyone took so many shots that night while we were all playing Catchphrase. That's the greatest game to turn into a drinking game. Juan made a slide show of all the pictures we took that night. It's super funny. Zac got me a bottle of Sauza Tequila with margarita mix, Adam bought me Bacardi Razz, and Jessie got me Hpnotiq. I had sooo much fun. I wish I could write more, but there is just too much to write.
