I just started watching Leverage last week--and holy shit, how did I not know about this show? It's so adorkable and it wants so badly to be witty and be taken seriously along with all the other children. Parker with her inability to interact with other people and Elliot being Elliot and therefore kind of incredibly hot but also terminally confused and Sophie! Oh, Sophie, you're gorgeous but sometimes your clothes really need help, sweetie.
Seriously, guys. How did I not know about this show?!
ETA: In other new-show related news: Press Gang is, indeed, awesome, so thanks for that tip off,
unoriginal_liz, but how did I not know that it was one of Moffat's first writing ventures? Doctor Who just acquired whole new depths. To think, the TARDIS might've been a secondary school classroom!
Actually, it really wouldn't have. But still. It's the thought that counts, right?
I'm moving through the first season sluggishly--this is supposed to be a new Mac, so why do the files take twenty minutes to download?--but it's so CUTE. I'm interspersing Leverage with the downloads, which is, needless to say, an exercise in mind-fuckery. Still, moving between Elliot assaulting people in airline bathrooms and Lynda skewering her minions and their grammar is not as jarring as one might expect.
