Congrats, should give the card an extra shake maybe some interest will fall out :) canadian dollar is on the rise so if you hold onto it a long enough maybe you can get par value for it :D

That is awesome. I've found $20's in the back of my sock drawer and I once found a $50 inside a rubber rat Hallowe'en decoration I'd put away in a box for a year. I guess I thought it was a good place to stash some mad money and it really was. :-)
