Several Political Thoughts
If the Republican party were genuine, it would schism into the Conservative and Neo-Conservative parties, as Neo-Conservatism likes to serve up the same food as traditional Conservatism, just with a dash of Xtian Fascism. There are probably as many traditional Conservatives left in the Republican party as there are Libertarians in total. Of course that won't stop Neo-Conservatives from sock-puppeteering the corpse-flesh of the old-style Conservatives to pass as inoffensive.
I've been watching the latest round of "Oh yeah? Well I'm gonna kick your ass!" between the current US regime and and Iran. More and more our diabolical leaders and their counterparts between Africa and Asia seem to sound like schoolboys posturing at recess. The Apocalypse all the televangelists seem to be gearing up for seems to mirror a fight between two 3rd grade twerps...how profound, I declare myself thoroughly stupified.
When the Neo-Conservatives finish draining the wealth from the middle class to the point that most people can't buy food and fuel (let alone luxury goods), they'll turn on each other. At this point Old Money will start to screw New Money out of their collective fortunes--Prada and Hugo Boss bags made of $4 worth of material and selling for $300 are likely blueprints of the way they'll pull it off. When it's all over, the Old Money will have no choice but to screw itself. Does no one have any sense of foresight anymore?
