If you don't know the dinner party game, it's where you select twelve people (from any point in history or possibly even fiction) for your ideal dinner party. If you had the chance to create your own government, who would you put in it? Based on conversation with Peppapig, I'm thinking of putting Dave Gorman in because he seems like a stand up kind of bloke, however my 'real people' model might take some time so this is my 'fictional' choices . Obviously, this is a work in progress but my initial thoughts are:
Prime Minister - Granny Weatherwax
Deputy Prime Minister - Dr Who
Chancellor of the Exchequer - Miss Marple
Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs - Captain Picard
Trade and Industry - Sinbad the Sailor
Leader of the House of Commons - Animal from the Muppets
Health - Hatty Jakes as Matron
Culture, Media and Sport - Austin Powers
Social Exclusion - Mr Scrooge
Leader of the House of Lords - Basil Brush
Education and Skills - Sherlock Holmes
Work and Pensions - Mary Poppins
Environment, Food and Rural Affairs - Beorn from the Hobbit
Chief Whip - Ming the Merciless
Transport - Willy Wonka
Communities and Local Government - Pop Larkin
Defence - Beowulf
Attorny General - Lisa Simpson
Paymaster General - Sir Lancelot
Anyone with better ideas (fictional or real)?
