Yesterday I booked a flight to Santiago de Chile on November 14th. It cost me $340 and was absolutely necessary, because otherwise they would have kicked me out of Peru come November 20th. I'm here on a tourist visa, and it expires after I've been in the country for three months.

So yesterday was a much, much better day than the day before. I don't know what it was, but the kids were so much calmer than what they were on Monday. Monday was complete chaos, yesterday I felt a bit like I didn't know who needed help with their homework, as they were all sitting on the right tables, doing them. Amazing! For the first time in a month, I woke up this morning and remembered what I'd dreamt.
