Oh, visual metaphors.
School starts on Tuesday, and I still don't have my list of textbooks!!! T_T Argh.
Didn't have much to do today. While we were cleaning out the garage, I found the cutest little doodle in one of my Calculus notebooks. It was of a character from a fantasy I'm sort-of-not-really working on, when she wakes up and is like, "Oh noes!!!" So I decided to scan it.
The rough sketch. She looks a little androgynous, and the left eye, left arm, navel, and collarbone are off.
First, I fixed the eye and the arm, then I created a new layer and drew in some lineart. I love how big her feet are.
Deleted the sketch, and began to color. Here are the foundation colors, or "flats."
And here's the finished product.
