Slimer pulled a surprise on me. He actually pulled a surprise on me. :-)
Friday night was a little mini-party in my dorm. It ended up being Slimer, Dan, and I for most of the night with drinking done by all. Things were learned...and said...and I ended up going to bed since I had dance in the morning. Slimer, my Dad, and I were supposed to go to a National's game Sat night so I told Slimer to meet me at my house around 2:30ish. I get home to find out that he "beat" me there... after greeting my family I go to change so we can get food and I find my ceiling COVERED in balloons. It was amazing!!! Apparently, he'd gone straight there from MU and had gotten my dad's help to inflate about 60ish balloons. Along with that, he brought me blue and white iced cup cakes with "Meaghan #1" on them. Apparently he really was paying attention when I explained to Trouble what kind of cupcakes I like :-) Bah!!
Her oven evidently doesn't like to play friendly with cupcakes so we celebrated with ELFudge (which is ALWAYS an acceptable solution ::nods::).
Anyway, he also asked my dad's permission while he was there. My dad asked why he wanted to marry me/why he was in love with me. Evidently Slimer's answer was good enough since my dad said "yes" :-D So its official, official now. He just has to break it all to his family. That might be a little bit though, the Marine's thing is still sinking in.
The baseball game was fun. The Nats went down in FLAMES....it was a massacre. Got to spend time with Dad and Slimer though....all of us were tired however so, when it was made quite apparent that the Nats were going nowhere fast, we departed. It was at the bottom of the 7th and not worth the effort to stay.
I brought all my balloons back to the dorm :) Hehe, they're all stuck on my ceiling...I promise to post pictures when I'm unlazy again.
Anyway, need to go shopping at some point but time to go get homework done.
