It got cold enough in the kitchen that the pipes to and from the dishwasher froze. I had to thaw them with a space heater.

When it's 20 below outside, it's too cold inside too. I was gonna go down in the basement and try to reverse-engineer a polygon-mirror laser scanner motor, but nuh-uh. I'm gonna curl up in bed with the critters.

Took the dog out this morning, and was greeted by a temp of -6.5F according to the not-horribly-accurate thermometer. According to the weather, it was right on the money. I'm glad I did the snowblowing last night.

It's downright cold today-- latest temp shows 4 degrees. After the 36-plus degrees it was yesterday, that's ass-cold.

I need to exercise. Were it warmer, I'd walk Sadie, but as cold as it is and with my metabolism sucking the bottom of the barrel of donkey nads, I'm gonna break out the bike today and see how riding is.
