Post about a good memory of holidays from a previous year for lolmac
It's funny, but I don't have a lot of specific memories around holidays. But when I think back for a 'good' memory, there are three that spring to mind:

It's funny, but I don't have a lot of specific memories around holidays. But when I think back for a 'good' memory, there are three that spring to mind:
- Sitting on my living room floor, playing Final Fantasy (I think it was VII), which I had just gotten for Christmas, while my SO slept on the couch behind me. It was very peaceful -- just us, no running around -- and fun -- learning a new game that I was enjoying.
- One of my last Christmases when I was living with my parents, somehow a good number of my friends ended up at the house on Christmas night. It was snowing (pretty unusual for my area), and we had a snowball fight in the front yard.
- My daughter's first Christmas, which was also either the first or second Christmas that I hosted in my house. It was my husband, me, my step-son, and my mother-in-law. We waited to open gifts until my parents came over early afternoon. It was everything Christmas should be - family and fun and love and warmth. My most special memory of that is my daughter (about 8 months old at the time) opening a gift from my mother. My mom had made her a Winnie-the-Pooh bear. My daughter pulled it out of the gift bag and gave it a huge kiss on the nose. It was so cute!!!
