The death of my computer is seeming to be a yearly event. Around this time last year, my motherboard died a painful death, and this time it was the power supply, which decided to take the motherboard along for the ride. Sorry to hear about the system crash though - that always sucks, and I too learned the hard way to save save save!

Must be the season. My monitor died yesterday. I am much happier though. I went from a 17 inch 11 year old monitor to a brand new 22" LCD wide screen. I am definitely loving it. Didn't realize just how off the colour was getting on my old one.

I really think that computers are built to crash like that on purpose as a way of convincing us to buy new ones. I believe in conspiracies. ;)

I'm glad you got it fixed though. I feel your pain.
