Pizza and New Friends
OK, so I had planned on having a lazy day at home doing laundry but my friend MotherRabbit asked if I'd stop by to talk to her about something going on at our local pagan shop (ironically not owned by a pagan) and I agreed to arrive around 1pm. Of course best laid plans lay to waste in my wake and I showed up at 1:30pm... gotta love the slow kidlet who does not want to take a shower when you tell him too! I had planned on giving her this bag of info I had about FTCKY crap, talking with her for awhile and jetting. Not that I wouldn't want to stay but I know her hubby just got home from Iraq and her bestest friend (who has been living with her for the last year) just got on a plane and went "back home" this weekend. So I did not want to intrude. Although I was having so much fun just chatting with her and hubby and I know DJ was having load of fun playing with her boys (6 & 3). Then her hubby suggested pizza and daiquiris so I was not about to turn down ann invitation (BAD GIRL, too many carbs today)! So I stayed until 8:30pm! LOL! She kept apologizing about the house (not that messy considering hubby just got home and she has 3 pets and 2 boys....lol) and apologizing because they were boring people and just liked to sit around the house....LOL! DAH! That is all I do, especially after a busy weekend! Hehehe... I assured her that I was having fun and that most of my get togethers were involving DVDs and junk food! Just ask Inanna_Astrea! So I probably scared these folks for life b/c once her hubby handed me a TERRIFIC strawberry daq, I lost all control of my mouth and talked about too much TMI, I am sure...lol! Before I left I made sure to invite her to the Samhain party and I am also dragging her to another gathering happening in Nov if it is alright for me to bring her!
Long story short (yeah too late), DJ and I had a blast tonight. It was nice to meet her hubby and I am pretty sure there will be many more nights of just hanging out and letting the boys play! **Oh did I mention she has the cutest little kitten (thank goodness we spent most of tonight outside on the porch), a pug and a male doxie?! He looks like daisy... I can breed her with him if I want... I am excited!
