Took the last of my finals today. I got a 92 even though I want to fight for a higher grade... he had a trick question on there and I only got it incorrect because of two words, "of Hehehehe... but honestly I don't care. I finished International Terrorism with an A and I finished Domestic Terrorism with a B. Concerning the B in Domestic Terrorism, I was being hard on myself for not doing these two assignments on time last week but then after I figured my final grade using his weighted grading system and the weighted scale APSU just switched to, I discovered that even if I had received full credit on both assignments (only worth 4 points each) I still would have received a B on my final grade. (APSU uses this 94% and above in an A scale that I absolutely HATE!) So I am not going to stress myself out over it anymore! I got a low B on my first exam because I did not study properly (I didn't use his study guide and I paid for it) so it is my own fault. Luckily I learned in time to spare my grade in the other class. LOL!
You might be wondering why a B stresses me out well last year I was invited to join an elite National Honor Society and I did. It is a goal I never thought I would attain after royally screwing up my first year of college. I especially never expected it after having to do the "lifetime learner" route (taking only 2-3 courses each term over the course of years) because I chose to have a family and put everything else on hold. Then a few months ago I discover (in my job hunting) that my grades and my status in Phi Kappa Phi assures me a certain "entry level" in any federal law enforcement job! Yeah, I can enter two ranks higher than most beginners can all because of my grades! So now more than ever do I actually give a crap about getting the best possible grades that I can. Especially now that I am in this new program that only one other school in the nation offers. Needless to say, the bar has already been set so I am just trying to maintain it! LOL! My GPA is right at the cusp of switching "honors" levels from Cum Laude to Magna Cum Laude so I would like to get to that level... however too many Bs and even my Cum Laude could slip away and now that I have it, I don't want to loose it! KWIM? Shoot once I found out the PAY difference between a standard entry position and the elevated one I wanted to go back and retake the two C's I got my sophomore year just to "pad" my GPA enough to assure my honors status! LOL!
Anyways... enough rambling on about school and grades. I am done for the next few weeks so I am gonna enjoy my break from the madness. Gotta work on the resume again and get it posted on the net. I also need to spring clean and get caught up on my pagan responsibilities that I have put off in the last 8 weeks. Oh and don't forget the gym that I have not visited. Hehehehe... so tomorrow morning, its me and the gym! YEAH!
