(no subject)
So, last night/this morning was just plain fun. Every year, Christi's family always goes out and shops on black friday. And they take it really seriously. Wal-Mart opened at 5 AM... We were there at 12:30. And we were the fourth group in line. It was kind of ridiculous. But it was awesome. I had an energy drink and a 24 oz. of cappuccino. ^_^ Christi, Kyle, and I played Egyptian Rat Screw until we couldn't feel our hands... quite literally. Then Ricco called, so we left to pick him up with Christi's mom and aunt guarding our spot. When we got back, we played more Egyptian Rat Screw, but got sick of not feeling our hands, so we decided to go play tag in the empty lot by Wal-Mart. Yeah... that lasted about 5 minutes. We sat in the car for a little bit, until we saw people handing out free coffee/cocoa and free donuts. Yay. So, after the cocoa and donuts, and 2 trips to the nearest gas station... it was time. It was crazy. As soon as the doors opened, everyone started sprinting to where they wanted to go. The coolest part, though - We were in, out, and back on the road with the stuff we needed in under 20 minutes.
Yep. Waited in line for almost 5 hours for a whole 20 minutes. But it was worth it. It was so much fun. We went to Menards after that and got some candles. We owned those bitches. They went to Toys R Us after that, but I had to go home. Because I hadn't slept, everything that was wrong with me was hurting all at once, so Christi brought me home. I got to sleep around 7:15, and woke up at 2:30. I'm exhausted, but it was so worth it.
So Kyle, Christi, Ricco, and I have all decided that this is going to become tradition for us. Except, I'll remember to sleep for a few hours before hand next time.
