So I took a look in my Writing folder recently to open The Nefarious Mansion, Part 2 - in order to finish writing so it can be sent off to my betas for reading. However, upon inspection of my entire Writing folder, it isn't there. At all. I looked 30284302 times, through ALL of the folders inside my Writing folder and the Writing folder itself.
So basically: God fucking dammit.
That reaction would've been more angry and dramatic and laiden with tears save for one thing: I hadn't really been too happy with it in the first place. Chapter 2 was another part that needed to hurry up and be hitched so I get to the down and dirty parts of The Nefarious Mansion, but it didn't satisfy me. Some of it was okay/good in parts, but other areas really lagged, and I'm starting to use less adverbs (thankfully, lol) so I wanted my writing improvements to extend through the entire chapter.
But still...I had about 6-8 pages done, if I lost them...UGH. Redoing. Not fun.
Everyone hope for the best, anyway.
And now I have a really bad head ache.
