[ have some - overly fancy, for nowadays' standards - Victorian handwriting. ]
You know, I am truly still wondering about this after all this time.. and perhaps anyone in this place can give me a new perspective on the matter, to put it that way. I have never been given a clear answer before, although I shouldn't have expected as much from that man. Writing things down like this is meant for communication after all, as far as I have been told so far.. isn't it?
So the question is.. why is a raven like a writing desk?
[ you might also find one of the newest additions to Hogwarts sitting around in the Gryffindor common room, if you're one of her fellow Gryffindors. she's keeping to herself, really, considering she's not the most social type, but she's observing other people a little from where she's sitting near the side of the room, curiosity apparent on her face. she doesn't seem to be fazed in the slightest though by her sudden arrival in this place; she's dealt with far stranger things. instead she's just curious and interested. ]
