I saw Breach today. It was incredibly...mediocre. I'm convinced that the actual story that this is all based on was better than this presentation of it. The acting was mostly good (Chris Cooper did a predictably great job), but what bugged the living crap out of me was that for the first half of the movie Caroline Dhavernas had no accent, and then about five minutes after we learn she grew up in the Communist Bloc, she magically grows an accent. It also seems to waver from strong to just a tinge of... Russian-y-ness.
Eh, It seemed like every thing I could say about it that I loved, was just a fact of the actual event and not part of the cinema-tizing of it all. Also, Gary Cole was there in a regular, non-silly role, and quite frankly, after everything he's done, I just can't take the man seriously.
I should go to bed now, because it's about six hours till I get up, and I'm about two and a half hours past my bed-time. 'Night Folks.
Gary WE LOVE YOU!
