Mixed up update.

But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Ask now about the former days, long before your time, from the day God created man on the earth; ask from one end of the heavens to the other. Has anything so great as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of? 33 Has any other people heard the voice of God [a] speaking out of fire, as you have, and lived? 34 Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by miraculous signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?

These verses are still true today. Be, encouraged, friends.

At work today I wrote this:

pasa el tiempo
caundo estoy en mi trabajo
está muy aburrido
y no hay mucho

para hacer.

I showed it to one guy, and he loved it. Gave me big thumgs up. That guys smiles constantly. A couple of minutes later, he wanted me to pull it out to show to another guy, and the guy wrote on a paper towel:

dónde aprediste español

to which I said

escuela y un simestre en españa. estaba allí por cuatro meses.

he shouted in my ear

what city

to which I said

sevilla

shortly after that, a supervisor came, so that conversation ended quickly, but I'm sure there will be more.

Also, another guy and I were talking, (his name is perfecto, and yes that means perfect, not a name I normally run into) and I told him about colo de toro, which is bulltail. I've eaten it before in spain. He didn't seem to think that that could be good meat, but I told him was, and he joked with me and asked are you sure that that's what it was

ah good times at a job that is strangely boring yet strangely enjoyable at the same time.

oh, someone told me today whose worked there before that overtime is double time and not time and a half. we'll see, but that rocks.
really, really rocks.

español, bible reading, work, god
