Most of the CSIs were at Grissom’s office. Catherine was playing with a pen in her mouth - she was unconsciously twirling and biting softly at the top of it. Warrick was very entertained watching her. Sara was sitting down gazing at Grissom, while he was immersed reading a forensic journal.

“Griss, can we go? We came in early just as you asked us to, but our shift is about to start and my case is hot,” Said Warrick.

Catherine took out the pen from her mouth. “He’s got a point Grissom. We should go and have this meeting later. I don’t think it’s that important if you haven’t mentioned anything. And by the way, where the hell are Nick and Greg?”

Grissom didn’t say a word; he only looked at Catherine as she spoke. “What do you think Sara?”

“Whatever Grissom says,” responded Sara, never leaving Grissom out of her sight.

“Wow, that’s a solid argument,” said Warrick, as he tossed a crumbled piece of paper to the trash can. Before Sara responded to Warrick’s remark, Grissom raised his hand and everyone looked at him.

“Look, I enjoy these little meetings as much as everyone here does, but we have to have it. I don’t want to repeat myself to the guys, so let’s just wait for them. Besides, aren’t you curious why the boys are late? I mean, Greg has been coming late since last month. And Nick…well, he’s a very punctual person.”

Warrick started to think the worst and immediately grabbed his cell phone to call Nick. As he hit the speed dial, Nick and Greg arrived. “Nick! I was about to call you. Why are you late?”

“Sorry, lost track of time.” said Nick as he smiled at Warrick.

“Yeah, I didn’t know we were so late.” said Greg nervously.

“Wait a minute, you guys came together?” asked Sara.

Without warning and involuntarily, Nick and Greg’s face turned several shades of red as they tried to hide their smiles.

“Um…yes and no. I was on my way here and my car started to have problems, so I went to Greg’s house. We tried a while to fix my car, but then I just left it there and rode Greg. I mean, I rode with Greg. Here. To the office.” Stuttered Nick, as the rest of the CSIs remained silent and confused.

“Well, next time please call. You never come late. You had us all worried. As for you Greg…” said Grissom as he pointed his pen at him, “You were late several times last month. You are a CSI now. If you want to be taken seriously you have to be more responsible. That includes being punctual, among…other things.” said Grissom as he noticed something weird in Greg’s clothing.

"Yes, Grissom. I'm sorry." said Greg while he looked intently at his shoes.

“Anyways, we’ll have this meeting next time, when everyone arrives on time. Crime doesn’t investigate itself.” Grissom walked out of his office. Greg and Nick managed to look embarrassed as they walked out from Grissom’s office, followed by a confused Warrick.

“Those boys had some action.” said Catherine, as she grinned and stood up.

“What.. Nick and Greg? No way. I mean, maybe Greg…I guess he likes to experiment…but Nick? Yeah, I don’t thin so Cath.” said Sara, as she took some folders that were on Grissom’s desk.

“And besides…what makes you think that?”

Catherine took a deep breath “Okay, here we go. Both guys looked more than suspicious and really guilty. Greg was more jumpy and nervous than usual, and Nick…well, he couldn’t get his facts straight, and that’s bad coming from a CSI.”

“Yes, I noticed that. But that doesn’t mean that…”

Catherine decided to interrupt Sara. “And…the most important thing of all…Greg’s shirt.”

“What about it?”

“It was on backwards.”

Sara laughed as she started to imagine the guys together. As they headed out, Sara grabbed Catherine’s shoulder and asked, “Wait, why are you so sure about the reason for their lateness?”

“Do you remember last month? I was stressed out and pissed at the world. Well, I found out that Greg is a terrific stress reliever. You see, I was the reason why Greg was late several times last month.”

Sara opened her mouth, but no words came out from it. Sara stayed at the edge of the door, while Catherine laughed her way out.
