So I came home a few days ago. Its good that the quarter is over, but I still have work to do for Yellowman. I came back on Thursday and went to my high school to watch their performance of Into The Woods. For those of you who dont know, they used Wright State's set for it, so I was excited to see how they were gonna adapt it to their stage. If you are interested to see what it looked like, ask me because i took pics of it. Watching the performance of it was like a mirror image (at a little above a high school level) of the production we did at WSU. I liked it so much that I went to all three performances of it. I guess that the theatre nerd in me, but hey, i got the attention. It seemed that whether I knew people or not, they knew that I had a hand in the set for the play. It was weird that so many people whom i had never met before knew my first and last name, what i do, and that i went to Wright State. I do not know how the hell someone whom i never met could just walk up to me and act like i am a celebrity or something. I was getting the idea when i came home for Xmas break that people were kinda forgetting me. Now, like i said, i am kind of a celebrity there. I guess I made a name for myself...the Legendary Matt Rosenfeld. There are certain ways people do things that i kinda started, and they are still done, and people say that "Matt Rosenfeld did it this way" and so people look up to me. I was telling one of the actors afterwards how great of a job he did, and it just made his week for me to tell him that because he said that i meant a lot coming from someone like me who really does theatre work outside of high school. It really makes me feel good, and all of this reassurres me that I am in the right field, although like i have said many times before, it is the death of me. I want to give a real quick thanks to Scott for driving 2 hours out here to see my production. I hope that you enjoyed it. I really appreciate you coming out to see it. So i guess thats all for now. I will definately write later.
